NaNoWriMo Update

Okay, after a little over 6 days (and a little behind personal goals but still very pleased with the progress) I made it to a big number.

That is 1/2 of the regular NaNoWriMo goal and 1/4th of the way to my personal goal. Yep, I am officially admitting in this blog that I'm trying to write 100k in a month. And I want the first 50k to be done in 12 days at the most because my current record is 50k in 15 days. Can I do it? Let's find out!

So, how are you?
How is NaNo treating everyone else?

Wow, 100k! I hope you meet your goal!

100k is an intense goal. Good luck. For me, it's my first NaNo, so I'm taking it easy and getting my word goal in (just barely). I do get to play catch-up on my Monday and Tuesday (days off), so that helps. But I am on schedule according to the graph.

YOU GO GIRL! I got my little outfit on with a big D on the chest just for you! I'm sure you can make your 100K goal with the rate you are going!

I know I don't comment on your blog that much, something that I forget about often. BUT - I do read it and I think you are a very gifted writer. SO - keep up the great work chickee and you'll be published in no time!

Liz - Thanks for the support.

Justin - Thank you as well. I remember my first nano, so good luck to you as it's quite a different experience the first time around compared to subsequent years.

Anastasia! - hehe, yes you get an exclamation to your name. ;-) You made me giggle and I'm glad you read my blog even when you don't comment. I can't wait to see your books on the shelves in the future.

Wow, 25k? That's very fast writing. I got held back because of a computer funeral, and I doubt I'll reach my 50k goal this year - which is sort of fine because it's revisions and not a new novel. But still, I gotta get my bum in gear!

Tessa Q - Aw, that is rough. Computer death does slow things down a bit. As long as you've made some progress this month, that's what really matters.
