I am still new to the book blogging world even though I have been blogging about writing for almost 2 years now. It wasn't until January of this year that I started a blog for reading and reviewing books. Though I did start making the plans for it several months before hand and took a couple months to get my fellow bloggers together along with blog decisions that were made. The blog has only been up for a few months but I'm enjoying it. Plus, it has me reading more.
The review blog: http://readingatdawn.blogspot.com/
And the other reason for using B day for Book Blogger. I'm going to be at the Book Bloggers and Publishers online conference. I've only done one other online conference before but I'm really excited for this one.
Check out the conference page if you're interested: http://bbpcon.blogspot.com/
I'm not sure what to expect but I hope in particular to learn of a few new ways to promote the reviewing blog. There is also going to be a chance for receiving some advanced reader copies of some novels and that is always fun. Networking is usually a good idea and that is what I'm going to do at this conference.
Anyone else going to be there?

About Me
- Dawn Embers
- I am a writer still trying to find the right path. A multi-tasker, distracted writer with many different novels and still have hopes of someday becoming published. I have a blog on writing in general, a blog on my own writing and fitness, and a book review blog.

Awesome, Dawn! Let me know how it goes. I don't have a book blog. I'm stretched pretty far as it is with blogs, but I enjoy reading others' opinions of books.
Very interesting approach to blogging. Wish i was this focused.
cheers,
Mood
Hi,
OMG, book blogging as well. Hell, I've got three blogs to worry about, and anything book related goes on my fun blog.
Good luck that! ;)

Excellent idea!

J.D. - Will do. Maybe I'll find a letter that will work so I can tell everyone how it went.
mooderino - Thanks. I don't know if I'm actually focused but I try.
F - And for C I get to post another blog link, lol. I post in 4 blogs cause I'm crazy like that. ;-)
Gregg - Thanks.
I'll definitely check out that conference - I hadn't heard of it, so thanks for posting!
Also wanted to say I LOVE your blog design. It's really cute and clean and descriptive.
Great approach to the challenge, i feel so boring!!
Found you from the A-Z Challenge, looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun, with maybe with a little bit of stress thrown in!! I’m now following you on GFC and I hope you have a chance to check out my blog!

Good for you, Dawn. I've only got one blog where I handle all my book blogging and anything book and writing related. I don't think I could handle more than one.
I never really realized until just recently how many book bloggers there are out there. I love it, I'm always interested in seeing what other people are reading, what they recommend, what they think of certain books. I'm off to check out your book blog now!
allison - Sweet. It looks like a good conference and I'm happy to relay the information so others can join too.
Monica - Why thank you, tough I'm sure yours aren't boring. Will check out your blog too. :-)
Cheree - It's not so bad. One of them I post once every other week and another I post once a week. Keeps me busy but I enjoy them all.
SweetMarie83 - I know what you mean. I didn't know how many were out there when I started mine even though I followed a few. Thanks for checking out my book blog.
Hi Dawn. So this is your B. Very good. SweetMarie is right. When you look there are so many book bloggers out there but there is room for more. Makes it hard to get/maintain an audience though. Hope this online conf. is good.

Denise - Very true. And I hope that the conference gives some good tips because I want to put more effort on my end to promote our blog. You and JJ have done so much and are great, so I hope I'm doing my part to help get us an audience to read our awesome reviews.
Sounds like it will be an interesting conference! I've been stumbling onto quite a few book blogs lately, and have added books to my reading pile because of it. I'll check up on yours, too. :)
The conference sounds like a blast. Have fun!

Great B Blog. For only doing the book blogging for several months, you appear a pro. Congratualtions. I found you through you visiting my blog through the Challenge. Thank you and I look forward to following you.
Nice to meet you. :-)
Sounds like an interesting conference!
Laura Josephsen - Thanks for checking out the blog. I appreciate it. There are indeed many and I'm sure there are far more than I can imagine finding but it's nice to have them for readers to learn about different books.
Tomara Armstrong - thanks. I will try to have a good time online at the conference. :-D
~Rasz~ - Well thank you, though I can't take all the credit. The two bloggers who post with me (L'Aussie and WritersBlockNZ) are amazing. I appreciate your compliment very much so.
K.C. Woolf - Thanks. Nice to meet you too.
What a good idea for book reviews!
I don't think I could handle more than one blog. I have enough trouble just keeping up with my one. How did you get involved with book reviews? It sounds interesting.
Dafeenah
Have fun meeting new faces in the book conference! Blessings to you! :)
Rhonda - :-D Thanks.
Dafeenah - I didn't think I would at first but it's not too bad if some of them have other bloggers along with you. As a writer, I also read though not as much as I should, so I thought it would be a good idea to do a blog so I could help myself read more. And the other bloggers make it really fun.
Bendedspoon - Thanks. I probably won't be meeting new faces but maybe avatars, lol.
Good Luck at the conference Dawn, I hope you learn a lot and make some good new contacts.
Enjoy the April Blogging Challenge.
